These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the I Ching Insights AI mobile application and related services (the “App” or “Service”) operated by Armancette Holdings Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “our”, or “us”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
For the purposes of these Terms:
“App” or “Service” means the mobile application known as I Ching Insights AI, including all associated features, software, and services provided through it.
“User”, “you”, or “your” means any individual who accesses or uses the App.
“Content” means any material made available through the App including hexagram interpretations, text, graphics, AI-generated summaries, and user-submitted material.
“User Content” means any content created or stored by a user within the App, including questions, journal entries, and saved readings.
“Premium Features” means optional paid features available through subscription purchases within the App.
The Service provides a digital tool inspired by the I Ching (Book of Changes) that allows users to:
cast hexagrams
view written interpretations created by the developer
generate contextual summaries using artificial intelligence
store readings and questions
create journal entries
access a reference library of hexagrams
access optional premium features
Artificial intelligence features utilise technology provided by OpenAI to generate contextual summaries based on the developer’s written interpretations.
The Service is provided for informational and reflective purposes only.
The App is intended solely for entertainment, personal reflection, and educational interest.
Interpretations of hexagrams and AI-generated summaries are symbolic reflections based on traditional concepts associated with the I Ching.
The Service does not provide:
medical advice
psychological advice
legal advice
financial advice
professional counselling
emergency or crisis support
Users must not rely on the Service for decisions affecting health, safety, finances, relationships, or legal matters.
The Service does not claim to predict the future or guarantee outcomes.
Any interpretations, readings, or AI-generated summaries provided through the Service are symbolic reflections and may vary depending on user input and interpretation.
Armancette Holdings Ltd makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, predictive value, or reliability of any interpretation or AI-generated content.
Users acknowledge that interpretations of hexagrams, readings, and AI-generated summaries are inherently subjective.
Any meaning, insight, or conclusion derived from a reading is determined solely by the user.
Armancette Holdings Ltd does not control, endorse, or validate individual interpretations made by users.
Users accept full responsibility for their own interpretation of readings and for any actions taken based on those interpretations.
Armancette Holdings Ltd shall not be liable for:
interpretations made by users
decisions taken based on readings
emotional, personal, financial, or psychological outcomes resulting from use of the Service
The Service is not intended to provide mental health advice, therapy, or crisis support.
If you are experiencing emotional distress, mental health difficulties, or thoughts of self-harm, you should seek assistance from a qualified professional or contact local emergency services.
The Service should not be used as a substitute for professional support.
Certain features of the App use artificial intelligence technology provided by OpenAI.
AI-generated summaries are produced algorithmically based on user input and predefined interpretation parameters.
AI-generated content:
may vary depending on user input
may contain inaccuracies or misinterpretations
should not be considered authoritative or professional advice
Armancette Holdings Ltd does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated responses.
Access to certain features requires the creation of a user account using an email address and password.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
Users are responsible for all activity that occurs under their account.
Users may delete their account at any time through the App settings. Deleting an account may permanently remove stored data associated with the account.
Data export functionality may not be available.
Users may store content within the App including questions, readings, and journal entries.
Users retain ownership of their User Content.
By submitting or storing User Content within the Service, users grant Armancette Holdings Ltd a limited licence to store and process such content for the purpose of providing the Service.
Users must not upload or store content that is:
unlawful
abusive
defamatory
threatening
harmful to others
intended to exploit the Service
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
All intellectual property rights in the App and its Content are owned by Armancette Holdings Ltd, including:
hexagram interpretations
written descriptions
AI summary structures
application interface
graphics and design elements
Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the App or its Content without express written permission.
Users agree not to:
reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the App
scrape or reproduce content from the Service
circumvent technical limitations
misuse AI functionality
use the App for unlawful purposes
interfere with the technical operation of the Service
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of access.
The App may offer Premium Features available through subscription purchases.
Premium features may include:
AI-generated summaries with monthly usage limits
extended storage capabilities
manual casting features
cloud synchronisation of readings
Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis.
Payments are processed through:
Apple App Store
Google Play Store
Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the policies of the relevant platform provider.
Armancette Holdings Ltd does not directly process payment information.
The Service integrates with third-party providers including:
OpenAI (AI generation)
Supabase (backend services and data storage)
RevenueCat (subscription management)
Apple App Store
Google Play Store
These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Armancette Holdings Ltd is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
User data including readings, questions, and journal entries may be stored using cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase.
While reasonable security measures are implemented, no digital system can guarantee complete security.
Users store content within the Service at their own discretion.
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time without prior notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Armancette Holdings Ltd shall not be liable for:
decisions made based on readings or interpretations
emotional, personal, or financial outcomes
inaccuracies in AI-generated content
service interruptions
loss or corruption of stored data
indirect or consequential damages
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Armancette Holdings Ltd from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:
misuse of the Service
violation of these Terms
reliance on interpretations generated through the App
We may update these Terms periodically.
Users may be notified of material changes through the App.
Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
