Coach Ed is a founding coach of the Ahwatukee Track and Field Club and brings over 15 years of high school coaching experience to the program. He currently serves as the Head Sprints Coach at Desert Vista High School and has a proven track record of developing athletes across all levels of competition.
Passionate about athlete development both on and off the track, Coach Ed has helped more than eight athletes reach NCAA Division I and II programs and continues to support current D1, D2, and D3 soccer athletes in their off-season training. His guidance extends beyond performance, he is dedicated to helping student-athletes navigate the college recruitment process and find the right school to continue their academic and athletic journeys.
Coach Ed is USATF Level 1 certified and constantly seeks to grow as a coach, staying up to date with modern training techniques and philosophies. He has coached athletes who have competed at national-level meets and is driven by a relentless commitment to helping every athlete reach their full potential.
He is also a proud father of two daughters—one currently playing college soccer, and the other preparing to graduate from Desert Vista.
