If you want a complete light-blocking sleep mask with integrated, removable audio cups and zero pressure on your eyes, choose AHUIARGY Sleep Mask; if you need superior active noise cancellation, all-night battery life, and a truly wireless in-ear design that stays put while side sleeping, choose Ertuly T33.
• AHUIARGY Sleep Mask: Its biggest strength is the 100% light-blocking 3D contoured design with dual-experience bamboo cotton or air fabric cups; its trade-off is reliance on Bluetooth connectivity for audio rather than active noise isolation.
• Ertuly T33: Its biggest strength is the Smart Hybrid ANC technology that blocks up to 98% of disruptive noise and offers 48 hours of total playtime; its trade-off is the in-ear form factor which some may find less versatile for non-sleep activities compared to a mask.
• Best for: The AHUIARGY is ideal for those who prioritize total darkness and facial comfort, while the Ertuly T33 is best for heavy sleepers needing to block out loud environments like snoring partners or traffic.
The AHUIARGY Sleep Mask is engineered specifically for people who treat darkness as a non-negotiable part of their rest routine. Unlike standard sleep masks that rely solely on fabric coverage, this unit integrates Bluetooth 5.4 headphones directly into a contoured cup system. The standout feature here is the ergonomic design that creates a 0.59-inch deep contour around the eye sockets. This isn't just about padding; it is about creating physical space so your eyelids can move freely without touching the surface of the mask. For anyone who has ever woken up with red marks or felt pressure on their eyeballs from a flat mask, this zero-pressure architecture is a game-changer.
I am particularly drawn to the versatility offered by the two removable cups included in the package. You get one made of bamboo cotton, which feels skin-friendly and resists pilling, and another made of air fabric that prioritizes breathability. This allows you to swap materials based on the season or your personal sensitivity to heat. If you run hot during the night, the breathable option keeps things cool. If you prefer a softer, more traditional textile feel against your face, the bamboo cotton is ready. The stick-on replacement design makes this switch effortless, meaning you aren't stuck with one texture for the life of the product.
This product is explicitly designed for side sleepers, but its utility extends well beyond the bedroom. The unique fitted design wraps around the nose to ensure 100% light blocking, making it effective even in bright hotel rooms, on airplanes, or during daytime naps where sunlight might intrude. The strap is adjustable to fit all head sizes without catching hair, a common annoyance with tighter bands. However, because it relies on Bluetooth streaming, users must be comfortable with the idea of connecting a device to listen to white noise or audiobooks. It does not actively cancel external sound through physics; it blocks light and plays audio. If you are looking for a tool to help you fall asleep faster by controlling your environment visually and auditorily, this is a robust choice. It is also worth noting the material choice; the use of bamboo cotton suggests a thoughtful approach to comfort, potentially making it a suitable gift for elderly family members who appreciate warm, soft fabrics.

The Ertuly T33 represents a different philosophy entirely: it abandons the mask format to deliver a dedicated, ultra-comfortable in-ear solution focused on acoustic isolation. The primary draw here is the Smart Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology. While many sleep earbuds claim to reduce noise, the T33 specifies that its dual-microphone system can neutralize up to 98% of disruptive sounds. This includes the specific frequencies associated with snoring, traffic rumble, and appliance hums. For someone whose sleep is consistently interrupted by environmental chaos, this level of active suppression is far more effective than simply playing a masking track over the top of the noise.
Battery life is another area where the T33 shines, offering a distinct advantage for long-term users who hate the ritual of daily charging. The earbuds themselves provide up to 8 hours of continuous playback, but the accompanying charging case extends the total usage time to a massive 48 hours. With a fast charge capability that takes just 1.5 hours via USB-C, you can get a full day's use from a quick morning charge. The case also features an LED display, removing the guesswork about how much power remains. This is crucial for travelers or shift workers who need reliability over multiple days without access to a power outlet.
The form factor is small, low-profile, and made from ultra-soft silicone, designed to sit snugly in the ear canal without causing pressure points. This "invisible" design is marketed heavily toward side sleepers who cannot wear bulky headsets. Because they are true wireless, there is no wire to snag on bedding or cause tangles. The inclusion of a dedicated Sleep Mode and the ability to switch between ANC and Transparency Mode via a triple-tap gives you control over your auditory environment. You can turn off the world to sleep, or open it up to hear an alarm clock or a partner calling your name. However, this comes with the caveat that it requires an in-ear fit. If you have sensitive ear canals or prefer something that sits loosely on the outer ear, these buds might feel intrusive compared to a simple mask. They are built for those who prioritize silence and immersion above all else.
• Best for Total Darkness: The AHUIARGY Sleep Mask wins hands down due to its 100% light-blocking nose contour and opaque design, whereas the Ertuly T33 offers no visual isolation.
• Best for Noise Isolation: The Ertuly T33 is the clear winner here with its 98% active noise cancellation, effectively silencing snoring and traffic, while the AHUIARGY only plays audio to mask sound.
• Best Battery Life: The Ertuly T33 offers 48 hours of total playtime with its case, significantly outperforming the AHUIARGY's 15-hour battery life which is limited to the mask itself.
• Best for Material Versatility: The AHUIARGY allows you to switch between bamboo cotton and air fabric cups, giving you two different tactile experiences in one purchase.
• Best for Side Sleeping Comfort: Both are excellent, but the AHUIARGY eliminates eye pressure via its 3D contour, while the Ertuly T33 eliminates ear pressure via its tiny, soft silicone buds.
• Best for Travel Convenience: The Ertuly T33 is easier to pack as a small case, while the AHUIARGY is bulkier but offers a complete blackout experience on planes or in hotels.
• Best for Bluetooth Range: The AHUIARGY boasts a range of up to 15 meters (49.2ft), offering slightly more freedom of movement around a room compared to the Ertuly's 10-meter range.
• Best for Quick Charging: Both offer fast charging, but the Ertuly's 1.5-hour charge time combined with the 48-hour total capacity makes it more practical for extended trips.
In my opinion, if I were buying this today, I would lean toward the Ertuly T33 for general home use, primarily because the 98% noise cancellation provides a deeper, more reliable form of silence than passive methods. The 48-hour battery life removes the anxiety of forgetting to charge, and the small, invisible design means I never have to think about wearing them. However, for nurses or medical professionals who work in brightly lit environments or need to block out every bit of light to nap between shifts, the AHUIARGY Sleep Mask is the superior tool. The combination of total blackout and the ability to switch to breathable materials makes it indispensable for a clinical setting. Ultimately, the Ertuly T33 is the better investment for pure audio performance and battery endurance, while the AHUIARGY is the essential companion for those who need to create a pitch-black sanctuary anywhere they go.
Neither product sheet explicitly claims the devices are fully waterproof for submersion. The AHUIARGY uses bamboo cotton which is skin-friendly, and the Ertuly T33 uses plastic and silicone, but neither is marketed as swim-proof or shower-proof.
The Ertuly T33 is specifically designed with an ergonomic, ultra-soft silicone shape to stay snug in the ear canal for side sleepers. The AHUIARGY solves this differently by using a 3D contoured mask that prevents eye pressure, allowing you to lie on your side without discomfort.
The AHUIARGY Sleep Mask offers up to 15 hours of playback on a single charge. The Ertuly T33 earbuds offer 8 hours per charge, but the included case extends the total usage time to 48 hours.
Yes, both products support Bluetooth connectivity for calls. The AHUIARGY features high-fidelity 32mm stereo headphones optimized for clarity, while the Ertuly T33 includes dual microphones for active noise cancellation and call quality.
