Welcome to “At Home Tactical Defense”! My name is Sifu Toby Ericksen. We are a full-service martial arts school offering Kajukenbo, Tai Chi, Judo, and Jiu Jitsu. 

My past includes a state wrestling championship in 1976, Reserve Deputy Sheriff, Master Class USPSA in Limited, state championships in USPSA and IDPA Limited division, multi-state champion in speed steel competition, 5th degree Black Sash in Kajukenbo Tum Pai, Brown belt in U.S.J.A. Judo, cross-trained in Jiu Jitsu, with a love for all things related to self-defense. I owned a gunsmithing shop for 20 years and built firearms from single-shot to full-auto OA93s for civilians and law enforcement. 

In 2016, my world was upended when I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, which led me down a path much different from what I had imagined. Today, I am working on some new endeavors to help maintain body, mind, and spirit.
