This is my second year coaching Austin High Ultimate. I am so grateful to be back after an awesome 2021/2022 season in which the team finished second in the Austin league and fourth at the Texas State Championships. I have played Ultimate for a little over ten years at the college and club levels. I also previously coached Griffin High School in Austin in 2018. I have lived in Austin and been part of the Austin Ultimate community since moving here from Seattle in 2015. I currently work as a software engineer at Arrive Logistics.

I’m excited to help coach the AHS ultimate team this year! I played women’s club ultimate, and all the tournaments, spring and summer leagues, and pick up games possible in between club seasons throughout the 90s and early 00s. An Austinite since 1994, I’ve raised two kids here - my younger daughter is a McCallum senior. I’ve known a couple of the AHS players since they were born, and am thoroughly enjoying getting to know the others! 

I moved to Austin from Seattle in 2020. I started playing frisbee at the University of Washington, then the local open team called Sockeye as well as Team USA Men's team in 2016. I have coached locally at UT, middle and high school back in Seattle and clinics internationally (Russia, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, China, Austria, Philippines, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Korea). I am excited to coach at AHS and share my knowledge, experience and love for this game with the kids.
