Hello, and welcome to AP Gov and Debate!
I was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Salt Lake City, Utah. I graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in Political Science and French Studies in 2011. I also participated in intercollegiate policy debate while at Emory. After college, I received a grant to teach in Nancy, France for a year before beginning graduate school at Vanderbilt University. At Vanderbilt, I earned a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education with a focus on teaching History and Government, and I also was an assistant coach for the debate program. Since 2013 I have been teaching at AHS as well as co-directing AHS's policy debate program. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, horseback riding, and spending time with my husband, our two cats, and our three year old daughter Emily.
I look forward to a wonderful school year!
