Ahmed Usman

Research Interests:

I am currently working as Senior Lecturer in Economics at the Department of Economics, University of Oxford. I am an applied financial economist and my research examines how the decisions of banks and firms shape one another, and how these links affect capital structure and investment and the wider economy. Before academia, I worked in corporate banking, and I have since worked with the Bank of England on its Decision Maker Panel and with the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics.
