    • November 2024: Rubayet, Sojib and Anh presented their projects at the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE) in Portland, OR.

    • November 2024: Fatemeh delivered an invited talk for the Jack and Ann Waddey Seminar Series of the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Auburn University.

    • August 2024: Fatemeh has co-organized a symposium on Advances in Multiscale Modeling and Nanomechanics for SES Annual Meeting in China.

    • April 2024: Fatemeh has received the NCE Rising Star Research Award. 

    • March 2024: Fatemeh is invited to serve as a reviewer for NASA EPSCoR program.

    • November 2022: Our paper on Entropic interactions of 2D materials with cellular membranes: Parallel versus perpendicular approaching modes in published in Mechanics of Materials.

    • November 2022: Fatemeh wrote an invited article for iMechanical Journal Club.

    • June 2022: Fatemeh has co-organized a symposium on Mechanics of Multifunctional Low-Dimensional Materials for United States National Congress on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, in Austin TX.

    • March 2022: Fatemeh is invited to attend the Emerging Topics in Mechanics workshop in Houston, celebrating the 60th anniversary of Professor Yonggang Huang.

    • December 2021: Our paper on Flexoelectricity and the entropic force between fluctuating fluid membranes is now published in Mathematics and Mechanics of Solids.
