What is a MakerSpace

A MakerSpace is an area of school where students can create, explore, discover, and invent using a variety of tools and materials.  It can be as simple as a table in the corner of a classroom with LEGOS and blocks to as complex as a lab with coding apps and 3D printers.  It is important to design the space so students feel free to explore and discover.

A MakerSpace is not about the tools provided - it is about inspiring kids to create.
