The name “Adventist” calls for unique identity. The word "HOPE" denotes the two-fold objective of the group, that is, evangelism (Helping Other People for Eternity) and church building project (House Of Praise Everywhere). The acronym “AHBA” was designed to make it sounds like “Abba”, an Aramaic word for father, used by Jesus and Paul to address God in a relation of personal intimacy.

AHBA was officially organized on May 13, 2017 during the 1st CVC-Wide Adventist Professional Architects and Engineers Fellowship at the Worship Hall, Central Visayan Conference, Cebu City.
