Ahana Patra is a Research Scholar in Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Durgapur, pursuing her Ph.D. since 2023. Besides her research, she has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, West Bengal, since 2019. She has over six years of teaching experience. Her research interests include Quantum Steganography, Quantum Computing, Quantum Image Processing, Quantum Image and Text Representation, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Pattern Recognition. 

Ms.Patra received her M.Tech and B.Tech degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Calcutta University, West Bengal, India, in 2019 and 2017, respectively. She also completed her B.Sc. in 2013. 

She started her career as a guest lecturer in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Techno Main Salt Lake, West Bengal, in March 2019. In August 2019, she joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at RCC Institute of Information Technology as an Assistant Professor.
