Player Conduct

We are a pinball league that exists to allow people to play semi-weekly pinball and have fun with others who share the same or similar passion.  While this league is IFPA approved and we do play for points, the primary purpose of this league is to gather and have fun playing pinball and spread passion for our sport.  To assure that everyone is able to come and feel safe and comfortable playing in our league we are instituting the following code of conduct.

Personal Conduct

Players are expected to treat fellow league members, tournament directors, guest players, host families, and the machines we play in a respectful manner.  Conduct including but not limited to will not be tolerated:

Note: a “Lazarus Ball” that goes down the center drain but hops back into play by it’s own momentum is permitted.

Absences/Delays

Players should remain close to the pinball machines during league play.  Any player not present to play their ball will be given 3 minutes to return to their machine.  If the player does not return within 3 minutes their ball will be plunged. Repeat absences may result in an immediate plunge of ball.

If a personal matter requires you to step away from play please inform your player and if necessary a league official so that they are aware.

Machine Treatment

We are a volunteer run league, and it is generous volunteers who open their homes and allow us to play their games.  You should treat the machines as if it was your own, or better than if it was your own.  Any instance of hitting, excessive movement, kicking, picking the game up off the floor, or any conduct that is construed as mistreatment of a host machine will result in a warning.  After a warning you will be ask to leave and sit out the remaining term of the current season.  If you are ask to leave twice you will not be invited to return to the league.
