Overview
Runehold: Pixel Defense is primarily an offline single-player tower defense game. The native game does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise location.
Some app versions may include app event measurement, attribution, remote configuration, or an in-app web experience. When those features are available, limited device and usage information may be processed as described below.
Data Stored On Your Device
Runehold may store gameplay data locally on your device, including progress, settings, virtual currency balances, tower upgrades, unlocked content, level results, daily mission progress, market rewards, and similar gameplay information.
This local gameplay data is used only to run the game and preserve your progress. It is not used to identify you personally. Removing the app from your device may delete this locally stored data.
Information We May Process
To operate, protect, improve, and measure the app, we or our service providers may process limited technical and usage information, such as:
- App version, device type, operating system version, language, and region settings
- Gameplay or app interaction events, such as session activity, reward claims, purchases made with virtual currency, or feature usage
- Crash, diagnostic, or performance information
- Device identifiers, including advertising-related identifiers when permitted by your device settings and your App Tracking Transparency choice
- Network information that is automatically sent when the app contacts a server, such as IP address and request metadata
We use this information for app functionality, analytics, fraud prevention, security, attribution, and advertising performance measurement.
App Tracking Transparency And Advertising Identifier
On iOS, Runehold may request your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing the device advertising identifier or using data for tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies.
If you allow tracking, your device advertising identifier may be used to measure app events and advertising performance. If you do not allow tracking, we will not access the advertising identifier for tracking purposes. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings.
Runehold does not show third-party ads inside the native offline game at this time.
Third-Party Service Providers
We may use third-party service providers, such as attribution, analytics, diagnostic, hosting, or security providers, to help operate and improve the app. These providers may process information on our behalf and are expected to use it only for the services they provide to us.
For attribution and analytics, the app may use Adjust or similar services to measure installs, sessions, and app events.
In-App Web Content
If Runehold opens an in-app web experience, that web content may load online content and may process information necessary to display the page, operate features, prevent fraud, or handle user actions. Any information you choose to submit through web content may be processed according to the privacy practices shown in that web experience or by the service operating it.
Virtual Currency And Purchases
Runehold may include virtual currency, rewards, upgrades, shop items, and daily draw features. Native offline gameplay balances are stored locally on your device unless an online feature is used. Virtual currency has no real-money cash value and cannot be exchanged outside the app.
Children’s Privacy
Runehold does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate, measure, secure, or improve the app. We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, fraud prevention, security needs, or to protect our rights and users.
Data Retention
Local gameplay data remains on your device until you delete it, reset it where available, or uninstall the app. Analytics, attribution, diagnostic, and server log data may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate business needs.
