App privacy policy

Thank you for using Agri Price. The app shows publicly available market prices of crops from market yards in Gujarat. This policy explains what information the app uses, why it uses it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to this policy.
Agri Price does not need an account or sign-in. We do not ask for or collect your name, phone number, email address, contacts, photos or files.
The app saves some information only on your phone so it works faster and also without internet:
the market yards and crops you choose
your settings (Gujarati or English digits, text size, light or dark theme)
the last prices downloaded
This information stays on your phone and is not sent to us. Uninstalling the app removes it.
When you tap "nearest yards", the app asks for your approximate location (not your exact location) to show the distance to each market yard and list the nearest ones first.
Location is used only while you use the app, never in the background.
It stays on your phone and is not sent to us or shared with anyone.
It is optional. The app works fully without it, and you can turn it off at any time in your phone's settings.
With your permission, the app sends notifications when new market prices are available. For this, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging gives your phone a random notification token. It does not identify you personally. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings.
To understand which features are used and to fix problems, the app uses:
Google Firebase Analytics: how the app is used, for example which screens are opened, along with device information such as model and Android version.
Google Firebase Crashlytics: crash logs and diagnostic information when the app stops working.
This information is not used to identify you, and we do not sell it.
The app shows ads to support its development. There are no in-app purchases.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID to show ads, including personalised ads. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your phone's settings, under Google → Ads (or Privacy → Ads).
Some ads in the app may be our own or a partner's offers. Tapping one opens the advertiser's link; we do not send them any personal information.
We do not control the content of ads or the data collected by third-party ad providers.
When you tap share, the app creates a price message or image and opens WhatsApp or another app you choose. Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it.
The app uses these services. Each has its own privacy policy:

The app does not use your camera, microphone, contacts or storage.
All data the app sends or receives uses a secure encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Agri Price is meant for farmers and traders and is not directed at children. Because the app shows ads from third parties, parents and guardians should supervise children's use as appropriate.
Deny or turn off location and notifications at any time in your phone's settings.
Reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your phone's settings.
Uninstall the app to remove all information stored on your phone.
We do not keep any account or personal profile for you, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. If you have a question about your data, contact us at the email below.
Prices shown in the app are collected from publicly available sources and are shown as published by the market yards. Please confirm with the market yard before making important decisions.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Please review it from time to time.
