Dr. Vincent is a Professor of Physics from the University of Winnipeg. His research interests include higher dimensional solutions of Einstein's field equations.
Throughout his life Albert Einstein gave talks to audiences of all backgrounds using blackboards to describe his ideas. He was often photographed in front of them and some have since been preserved by the universities where he spoke. Dr. Vincent's presentation will discuss the fascinating stories behind many of these blackboards. Click here to read more about this talk.
Dr. Hughes, who has a family connection to Dr. Dunn, is a Professor of Physics and Margaret MacVicar Faculty Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research interests include black holes and gravitational waves.
His talk will focus on the current state of gravitational research.
Dr. Luigi Gallo is Professor of Astronomy and Physics at Saint Mary's University. He studies the environment around active galactic nuclei using high energy X-rays from the regions closest to their super massive black holes. His talk will focus on how this data can be used to examine the black hole properties.
