We will be covering all relocation expenses listed below. For items that require advanced payment, please keep all your receipts & invoices for later reimbursement submissions.
One-way economy flight is reimbursable. It could be commercial or repatriation flight, make sure to check with your local embassy or our immigration partner before purchasing.
For unvaccinated/non-fully vaccinated persons:
Every required Covid test is reimbursable. Make sure you take COVID PCR Test or Antigen Rapid Test (ART) within 48 hours before departure if required. This will depend on countries & regions you depart from and your vaccination status.
For unvaccinated/non-fully vaccinated persons:
You can reimburse for Stay-Home Notice (SHN) hotel/accommodation fee if needed.
Agoda will cover the following transportation expenses with receipts.
Transportation from your home to the airport
Transportation from the airport to temporary accommodation
Transportation from and to SHN accommodation (if needed)
First 30 days in Singapore paid by Agoda (no advance payment needed).
Your and your dependent (spouse & children) Visa application fees are reimbursable. Advanced payment is required, please keep all receipts for later reimbursement once you join us.
Option 2: Reimburse 2 additional baggage (weighing a total of 46 kg per person.) Maximum reimbursable budget is actual cost of additional luggage.
* For option 1 meaning that your relocation expense will be covered upfront by Agoda. You will not have to make advanced payment for later reimbursement with us.
Once you've made a decision to utilize our shipping service, let us know by sending an email to onboarding@agoda.com! We will provide your contact detail to Sirva, our shipping management vendor, to assist you with your move. They will get in touch within a couple of days!
A couple of shipping company representatives may visit your house to estimate the total volume of items to be packed. Once done, Sirva will review the quotes and approve one company to handle your move.
Remark: Please recheck with the shipping company whether your belongings will incur import duties. Some of items will and you will need to bear the cost if you would like include such items in.
The approved shipping company will arrange and confirm their packing plan & date with you. If you will not be present on the packing day, please make sure that you have a representative who can be there on your behalf.
Once your shipment arrives, the shipping company will assist on the custom clearance. Please follow their instruction and provide documents if needed. This will take around 5-7 working days.
Once customs clearance is completed, your shipment will be delivered to your permanent address in Singapore.
Please note, due to the Covid situation, there are currently shipment shortages worldwide and this may result in delays in receiving your goods.
Remark: If any of your items are damaged, you must file your claims with the moving company within one month of delivery date.
We will not be covering extra costs exceeding the maximum granted budget, or any other expenses not mentioned in the section above.
Examples: (1) Extension of temporary accommodation; (2) Re-application for work permit due to outbound travel within 2-3 weeks of arrival in Singapore; (3) Any shipment items incurring extra import duties; (4) Any additional costs from shipment delay incurred from your end.
Remember to keep all your receipts and invoices as proof to your reimbursement claims.
As soon as your bank account is set and bank details are entered into Workday, you may file an expense report (we will provide you more detailed instructions once you join us officially) and upload your receipts in Workday.
You will be paid within 10 working days following approval of your expense report.
