Walkathon

A Fundraising EVENT  Promoting Fitness

Partnership with our fantastic physical education teachers at Agnor-Hurt, the PTO has produced the Walkathon, starting in 2022. Students throughout the day will come during their Specials period and walk or run around the gymnasium. Families and friends have the option to sponsor their student(s) in how much they walk, pledging a certain dollar amount per lap. The proceeds go to support the PTO's annual projects and initiatives to support the school and community.

2023 Walkathon ReCAP

Across all the students, there were 14,447 laps or 577.88 miles ran that day! This is a 9.4% increase from last year's 13,204 laps. We were also able to raise approximately $7,000 for the AHES PTO to support our school and community needs.
