We are delighted to share with you that Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Global Young Academy (GYA), the Indian National Young Academy of Science (INYAS), and the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), will organize the International Conference of Young Scientists - Confluence of Visionaries: Empowering Science for Global Change along with the GYA Annual Meeting from June 8-14, 2025.
Hosting for the first time in India, this prestigious global event underscores the nation’s growing prominence in the global scientific community. This year’s conference will focus on the theme, “Confluence of Visionaries: Empowering Science for Global Change,” aiming to serve as a platform for young and visionary minds from diverse fields and geographical locations to converge, share insights, and explore strategies for harnessing the power of science to drive positive global transformations.

GYA brings together 200 members and more than 400 alumni from more than 100 countries. The GYA activities are clustered into 4 thematic areas: Science and Society; GYA & the SDGs; Research Environment; and Science Education & Outreach.
INYAS is the only recognized academy of young scientist in India. INYAS provides a platform to exchange ideas, initiate discussions on scientific topics, collaborations among the new generation of scientists.
One of the oldest academies established in 1935 with the aim of promoting science in India and harnessing scientific knowledge for the cause of humanity and national welfare. Mission: To act as a resource pool of knowledge; to promote Science in India; to harness scientific knowledge for National welfare; to identify and nurture scientific talent in the country, and to interface and represent the Indian Science and Scientists, globally on behalf of the government of India
