This site shares the podcasts, films, readings, and other content from the American government/politics course taught by Dr. Liz Norell. If you have suggestions for additions (or recommendations for things to remove), please let me know!

After you listen to, watch, or read one of these options (or complete an activity), you should write a short (1-2 paragraphs, more or less) reflection on what you got out of it. Answer questions like: What was the most interesting part of this? What did you think of it overall? How does this connect to what you've already learned? Would you recommend this to someone else? Why or why not?

Then post in our class Discord channel (preferred) or upload to the eLearn dropbox for that week.

NOTE: If you are a ChattState student, you can get unlimited access to new York Times articles through the College. Go to nytimes.com/passes to sign up with your student email. You have to renew this every semester (or maybe academic year?), but you can use this account across your devices.
