The AgilePM Foundation course is an advanced certificate for project managers working in Agile environments that is highly recognized. The DSDM Consortium owns the methodology, while APMG administers the certification and exam. The exam is available online, and you can take it from anywhere in the world, whether at home or at work. After you purchase the course, it will be available for one year. The first third of the course is free, so you can get a feel for the course's quality and get started right away without needing to sign up. Agile project management incorporates sound project management techniques into agile initiatives. It's extensively used in the IT and creative industries, but it's quickly gaining traction in other industries as well. This course focuses on the 'Enough Design UpFront' project methodology. Combining Agile flexibility with staying in control and avoiding excessive risks is a winning combination.
There`s an Agilepm foundation exam too. The Agile Project Management Foundation® exam is the natural next step after completing the Agile Project Management Foundation® course.
There are 50 multiple-choice questions on the exam. You have 40 minutes to complete these tasks. The exam is conducted in English, and you are not permitted to examine any sources during the examination. If English is not your first language, you will be given an additional 25% time allowance.
You will be awarded the Agile Project Management Foundation® credential if you pass the exam.
Who should take the Foundation - Exam for Agile Project Management (AgilePM®)?
Anyone who has completed the Agile Project Management Foundation® training and wishes to demonstrate that they have mastered the material should take the exam.
If you want to take both the Foundation and Practitioner tests, we recommend that you do so after you've completed both the Foundation and Practitioner programmes. You can take both tests on the same day if you choose.
Prerequisites
Prior to taking this exam, you must have completed the Agile Project Management Foundation programme and studied the first 12 chapters of the book. A practise exam is included with the Agile Project Management Foundation programme to help you prepare for the exam.
What is PRINCE2 Practitioner course?
Anyone in charge of projects should pursue PRINCE2 Practitioner certification. This could be as part of a formal project management function or as part of a role that requires project management on a daily basis. The Practitioner certification verifies that you have adequate knowledge and comprehension of the approach to apply and customise it to a variety of project situations and scenarios.
Getting your Practitioner certification is merely the first step toward becoming a great project manager. It is critical that you supplement this with real-world project experience, as well as investing in personal professional growth and wider training.
