A Gift 2 Humanity is a student led club founded in November 2020. This club is committed to service.
Founder: Aparna Gana
I am a third-year student at the Universiy of Virginia.
Service is a big part of me. Throughout my life, I have observed those who struggle, those who cry, those in need, and this cultivated my eagerness to GIVE. I have volunteered in shelters and organizations, have donated many of my belongings to the poor, and was part of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) in middle school. I also publish and sell books with the intention of donating all book money to charity. Thus far, I have published a book of poems titled "What are the Roots of Earth?"and a short children's book titled "El Diamante Perdido," written in Spanish.
My heart wants to give much more. A Gift 2 Humanity (AG2H) is the platform through which the small gift in my heart will open wide, reach many, and most importantly, bring enlightenment. I am taking one step forward in my service journey, but never will I step back. I am determined, willed, and ready to bestow my love, kindness, and compassion on the world.
Fun Fact
My favorite hobbies include: playing the piano, singing, dancing, playing tennis, programming, and writing.

I am a third-year student at George Mason University.
I have always loved helping the community. I found volunteering enjoyable and believed that it was a valuable way to spend time because I got to do a variety of fun activities while positively impacting the lives of others. When I was younger, I used to admire, but also envy high schoolers that I saw volunteering because I was jealous that they got to do fun activities that I was not able to because I was not old enough. When I entered high school, I instantly joined the key club, a service oriented club in my high school, and participated in as many of the activities as I could. During the summer of my freshman year, I volunteered to tutor math and science to elementary school students from @thegiftoflearning. I loved volunteering. In the summer when Aparna and I were talking about the clubs we wanted to join, Aparna mentioned that she has always wanted to start an organization that focuses on helping humanity. I was so excited that I found someone else who wanted to do the same thing I did. I automatically declared that this had to be made and accepted to be a co-founder.
Fun Fact
I enjoy drawing and spending time with family and friends.
Mission & Plan
We were born with service, with the passion to help, heal, and brighten. We were born with a gift in our hearts that we now want to present to humanity. Our mission is to serve, and only to serve. When we have something to offer, even if it is small, we must offer. That is what we are doing.
To achieve our mission and purpose, we will initiate simple service-oriented projects, each of which is our special gift to humanity. Our club has a simple purpose and mission, but in doing the simplest things, we are committed to making the biggest difference. We start our never-ending service journey now; this is our first step, but never our last.
