The percussion program at AGHS pushes students to perform at their highest ability. They work year-round in order to better themselves as musicians and performers. The ensemble focuses on percussion instruments, offering students opportunities to develop technical skills, musical artistry, and life skills like cooperation and responsibility. They perform various types of percussion music, including concert pieces, marching band shows, and indoor percussion performances.
