Why Join Us?
It is a great place to make professional connections before entering the workforce by meeting with experienced teachers, administrators, and advocators.
It provides professional developments, knowledge, and skills designed to prepare anyone in the field of education.
It allows for future educators t0 build their passion through activities involving education into a successful career. Where passion meets profession!
There are many opportunities to create bonds with other members, Aggie teachers, and so much more through meetings, social, service, and fundraising opportunities.
Our Four Components
Professional Developments
For every other biweekly meeting, we include a professional development. We want our members to be prepared and make professional connections before entering the classroom by bringing in experienced teachers, administrators, and advocators.
Socials
For every other biweekly meeting, we plan a social event. The purpose of our social events is to unite our members. We believe it is important to build relationships with other future educators.
Services
We plan at least one service opportunity per semester. All of our service events are centered around children and the field of education. We believe that volunteering with children will help us develop a deeper passion for helping the next generation.
Fundraisers
Our fundraising events are centered around the College of Education and growing relationships between members. Fundraising includes merch and profit shares to help our organization's funds.
Affiliation
TSTA
We are affiliated with the Texas State Teachers Association (TSTA), an organization dedicated to uniting, organizing, and empowering public education in Texas to ensure every child has access to a high-quality public school.
"The Texas State Teachers Association will unite, organize, and empower public education in Texas, thus providing a quality public school for every child."
