Aggie Ocean Discovery Team Focuses on long-term advancement

The Texas A&M | Ocean Engineering team has partnered with world leaders in subsea technology to provide long term solutions to ocean research. Utilizing Artificial Intelligence on Subsea and Ocean-going vessels they plan to create a fleet of the most advanced vehicles on the market with open access to research institutions.

Shell ocean discovery xprize

The "Shell Ocean Discovery XPRIZE" is a $7Million purse to research the ocean floors. We must create a vehicle that takes a bathymetric scan of the ocean floor and take remote chemical analysis without human intervention.
