Dr. Harry began his journey in Chemical Engineering at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and Universitas Indonesia (UI), earning degrees in Chemical Engineering (BEng, MEng) and honing his expertise in gas processing and simulation. Recognising the interplay between technology and economics at the best universities in Indonesia, he pursued an MSc in Economics at Universitas Indonesia, achieving distinction and accolades for his research in oil exploration economics.
Driven by a desire to address complex global challenges, Harry earned two PhDs—one in Strategic Management from Universitas Indonesia (graduating in a record 2 years and 11 months) and another on going study in Scenario Planning from the University of Strathclyde, supported by the UK Research and Innovation. These milestones underscore his ability to navigate uncertainty and inform decision-making with precision.
Simultaneously, he pursued advanced analytics expertise, achieving MSc degrees in Data Science (Newcastle University) and Business Analytics (Imperial College London), both with distinction and foreign scholarship funded by universities.
His dissertation at Newcastle has contributed cutting-edge insights into missing data exploration and global energy patterns, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach to solving critical challenges. At Imperial, his research focused on AI-advanced recommendation algorithmic systems and knowledge graphs to increase customer experience and loyalty using real-time datasets.
