To open the lock, turn the dial to the blank spot (zero). This is the starting point.
Tap the right side of the dial to spin the dial clockwise twice, on the last spin you need to pass 0 and land on 40.
Then tap the left side of the dial to spin counterclockwise once, then pass 40 and land on 70.
Finally, spin the dial clockwise and land on 20
If you mess up, return the dial to 0 to reset the lock.

At night, go downtown to the night club. Talk to the bouncer.
You have to find a red hat in the headmaster's safe.
Head to the school and go to the headmaster's office and unlock the safe.
You now have 3 Favorability for Ruby.
