PRIVACY POLICY FOR AGE BUDDY — SMART AGE CALCULATOR

Sayfur Software Lab ("we", "us", or "our") operates Age Buddy — Smart Age Calculator ("Age Buddy", "the App").
This Privacy Policy explains what information Age Buddy may access, collect, use, store, and share when you use the App, and how we handle local profiles, Google Sign-In, Premium subscriptions, cloud synchronization, advertisements, and other supported features.
By using Age Buddy, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
Age Buddy is designed with a privacy-conscious, local-first approach.
Many of the App's core features, including age calculations, profile management, birthday calculations, birthday reminders, widgets, and other supported tools, can operate using information stored locally on your device.
Depending on the features you use, Age Buddy may process information through trusted third-party services for:
• Google account authentication
• Firebase authentication
• Cloud profile synchronization
• Premium subscription management
• Purchase and entitlement verification
• Advertising
• Other app functionality
We only use information for purposes reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the App and its supported services.
2. INFORMATION YOU MAY PROVIDE
Depending on how you use Age Buddy, information may include:
• Name
• Date of birth
• Relationship or profile category
• Profile photo
• Birthday information
• Starred/default profile status
• Birthday card preferences
• Birthday wish preferences or customized messages
• Google account name
• Email address
• Google/Firebase account identifier
• Age Buddy account identifier
• Premium subscription and purchase information
• Information required for supported cloud synchronization
• Information you voluntarily provide when contacting us
Not all of this information is collected by our servers.
Some information is stored and processed only locally on your device.
3. LOCAL PROFILE DATA
Age Buddy supports local profile storage.
Profiles created in the App may be stored locally on your device and may include:
• Name
• Date of birth
• Relationship
• Profile photo
• Starred/default status
• Other information necessary for profile functionality
Local profiles are separate from your Google account.
You can use the App's basic profile and calculation functionality without signing in with Google.
Signing in, signing out, switching Google accounts, changing Premium status, or restoring a Premium purchase does not by itself mean that your local profiles are uploaded, deleted, or transferred.
Free users may keep their profiles entirely local on their device.
4. LOCAL PROFILE STORAGE AND OFFLINE USE
Age Buddy is designed to support offline-first functionality.
Where supported, the following features may work without an internet connection:
• Age calculations
• Profile management
• Birthday calculations
• Birthday reminders
• Birthday card generation using locally available information
• Home screen widgets
• Other local features
Information stored only on your device is subject to the security controls and storage mechanisms provided by your device and operating system.
Age Buddy cannot guarantee that locally stored data will survive:
• App uninstallation
• Clearing App data
• Device reset
• Device failure
• Operating-system actions
• Storage failure
• Other destructive device actions
5. PROFILE PHOTOS
Profile photos may be selected and stored locally on your device.
Profile photos may be used by Age Buddy features including:
• Profile display
• Birthday Card Generator
• Home screen widgets
• Other personalization features
Age Buddy does not intend to upload or synchronize profile photos through the Age Buddy cloud profile database under the current cloud synchronization system.
Profile photos may therefore remain stored locally on your device.
If you use the same Age Buddy account on another device, your cloud-synchronized profile information may be restored, but locally stored profile photos may need to be added again on the new device.
Age Buddy does not use profile photos to determine sensitive characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, political opinions, or other sensitive attributes.
6. GOOGLE SIGN-IN AND FIREBASE AUTHENTICATION
Age Buddy provides optional Google Sign-In.
You are not required to create an account to use the App's basic free features.
When you choose to sign in with Google, Age Buddy may receive basic account information made available through the Google authentication process, such as:
• Google account name
• Email address
• Google account/profile identifier
• Profile photo information provided by Google, where applicable
Firebase Authentication is used to securely manage authentication and account identity.
A Firebase User ID (UID) may be used as the stable account identifier for supported Age Buddy account functionality.
The Firebase UID is used to associate the authenticated user with supported account-related services.
Age Buddy does not use your Google password.
Age Buddy does not access or read your Google Contacts through Google Sign-In.
7. GOOGLE ACCOUNT AND PREMIUM IDENTITY
Google Sign-In and Premium entitlement are separate concepts.
Signing in with Google does not automatically grant Premium access.
Premium access is based on a valid Premium subscription or purchase entitlement verified through the supported subscription systems.
For account-based Premium functionality, the authenticated Firebase User ID may be associated with the user's RevenueCat App User ID so that subscription entitlement can be associated with the correct Age Buddy account.
This account identifier is used to support:
• Premium access
• Subscription restoration
• Account switching
• Supported cross-device Premium access
• Cloud synchronization eligibility
We do not use your email address as the permanent RevenueCat subscription identity when a Firebase UID is available.
8. PREMIUM PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
Age Buddy offers optional Premium subscriptions through Google Play Billing.
Current subscription options may include:
• Monthly — $1.00 per month
• Annual — $5.00 per year
Prices may vary by country or region.
When you purchase Premium, Google Play processes the payment.
Age Buddy may receive or process information necessary to determine whether a valid Premium entitlement exists.
RevenueCat is used to manage subscription status and Premium entitlements.
Subscription-related information may include:
• Purchase status
• Subscription status
• Product identifier
• Subscription period
• Renewal status
• Purchase-related identifiers or tokens
• RevenueCat App User ID
• Firebase/Age Buddy account identifier
• Other information required to validate and manage the entitlement
Age Buddy does not store your complete credit card or debit card number.
Payment processing is handled through Google Play according to Google's applicable policies and terms.
9. REVENUECAT
Age Buddy uses RevenueCat as a subscription and entitlement management service.
RevenueCat may process information necessary to identify an App User and validate subscription or purchase status.
Depending on the configuration used by Age Buddy, this may include:
• Age Buddy/Firebase user identifier
• RevenueCat App User ID
• Purchase history
• Subscription information
• Google Play purchase information
• Product and entitlement information
• Technical information required for subscription functionality
RevenueCat's services are used to provide Premium entitlement functionality and subscription management.
RevenueCat may process end-user transaction and technical information as described in its own privacy documentation.

10. RESTORE PURCHASES
Age Buddy may provide a Restore Purchases feature.
When restoring a Premium purchase, you may be required to sign in with the Google account associated with your Age Buddy account.
After authentication, Age Buddy may verify your current entitlement through Google Play and RevenueCat.
Signing in with Google alone does not activate Premium.
If a valid Premium entitlement is found, the App may restore Premium access to the appropriate Age Buddy account.
If no valid entitlement is found, the account remains on the Free version.
Legacy or previously created subscription identities may also be processed where necessary to support legitimate purchase restoration.
11. CLOUD PROFILE SYNCHRONIZATION
Age Buddy may provide cloud profile synchronization for eligible Premium users.
Cloud synchronization is separate from local profile storage.
When cloud synchronization is enabled, supported profile information may be stored in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore.
Cloud-synchronized profile information may include:
• Profile name
• Date of birth
• Relationship/category
• Starred/default status
• Other supported profile information required for synchronization
Profile photos are not intended to be uploaded to the Age Buddy cloud profile database under the current system.
Cloud synchronization is enabled only when the required account and Premium conditions are satisfied.
A Google account by itself does not automatically enable cloud profile backup for Free users.
12. FREE USERS AND CLOUD STORAGE
Free users can use the App without signing in.
Free users may also sign in with Google where supported.
However, Google Sign-In alone does not automatically enable cloud profile backup.
Under the current system, cloud profile synchronization is intended for eligible Premium users with an authenticated Age Buddy account.
Free users can continue using their locally stored profiles without cloud synchronization.
13. ACCOUNT SWITCHING
Users may switch between Google accounts.
When an account is changed, Age Buddy may refresh account-specific cloud and Premium information so that data associated with another account is not incorrectly displayed as belonging to the newly signed-in account.
Changing Google accounts does not by itself delete local profiles stored on the device.
Local profiles remain separate from cloud account identity unless the user explicitly deletes them or performs a destructive device/app action.
14. FIREBASE CLOUD FIRESTORE
Age Buddy uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore.
Firebase Authentication may be used for:
• Google account authentication
• Account identity
• Firebase UID management
Cloud Firestore may be used for:
• Supported cloud profile synchronization
• Restoring eligible profile information on another device
• Account-associated cloud data
Cloud data is associated with the authenticated Firebase UID.
Security rules are used to restrict access to account-specific cloud data.
Age Buddy does not intentionally allow one user's account to access another user's private cloud profile data.
15. DATA SECURITY
We take reasonable measures to protect information used by Age Buddy.
Information transmitted between the App and supported cloud services is protected using appropriate security mechanisms, including encryption in transit where supported by the service.
Firebase and other third-party services may provide additional security mechanisms for their infrastructure.
However, no method of electronic transmission, cloud storage, or local storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Google account.
16. BIRTHDAY REMINDERS
Birthday Reminders are available as a supported Premium feature.
When you enable Birthday Reminders, Age Buddy may schedule local notifications on your device.
These reminders are generated and scheduled locally and do not require a server to send each notification.
Reminder timing is based on the device's local date, time, and timezone.
Depending on the App's current configuration, reminders may include:
• 7 days before a birthday
• 3 days before a birthday
• 10 minutes before a birthday
• Other reminder options supported by the App
Notification permission may be requested when you choose to enable Birthday Reminders.
Age Buddy does not guarantee notification delivery if notifications are blocked by the operating system, device settings, battery optimization, notification permissions, or other technical conditions.
17. BIRTHDAY CARD GENERATOR
Age Buddy may provide a Premium Birthday Card Generator.
The Birthday Card Generator may use information from the selected Age Buddy profile to create personalized birthday cards.
Information used by the generator may include:
• Profile name
• Age
• Date of birth
• Relationship/category
• Profile photo, when the user chooses the With Photo option
• Birthday wish message
• User-selected template
• Other locally available personalization information
The Birthday Card Generator is designed to use the existing local profile system rather than creating a separate profile database.
Cards may be generated locally on the device using available profile information.
Where supported, users can choose:
• With Photo
• Without Photo
When Without Photo is selected, the profile photo is not used in the generated card.
18. BIRTHDAY WISH MESSAGES
Age Buddy may provide relationship-aware birthday wish messages.
The selected profile's relationship/category may influence the style or wording of a birthday wish.
For example, different wording may be generated or suggested for:
• Friend
• Mother
• Father
• Brother
• Sister
• Husband
• Wife
• Son
• Daughter
• Family member
• Colleague
• Other supported relationships
Users may edit or replace generated messages where the feature allows.
Birthday wish generation is intended for personalization and entertainment purposes.
19. HOME SCREEN WIDGETS
Age Buddy may provide Android home screen widgets.
Widgets may use information from the currently selected or default Age Buddy profile.
Depending on the widget type and available space, widgets may display:
• Profile photo
• Profile name
• Date of birth
• Birthday weekday
• Current age
• Detailed age
• Live age information
• Birthday countdown
• Other supported age information
The widget is intended to reflect the profile selected or designated as the default profile in Age Buddy.
Profile information used by the widget may be obtained from the local profile storage on the device.
Profile photos used by widgets may remain stored locally.
Widget data is not intended to create a separate cloud profile database.
20. ADVERTISING
Free users may see advertisements through Google AdMob.
AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process certain information such as:
• Device or app identifiers
• Advertising identifiers
• IP address
• App interaction information
• Diagnostic information
• Information required for advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and related purposes
Depending on applicable settings and user choices, advertising may be personalized or non-personalized.
Premium users may receive an ad-free experience according to the Premium features available in the App.

Google Mobile Ads SDK documentation states that the SDK may automatically collect and share information such as IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device/account identifiers depending on configuration and use. 2
21. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Age Buddy uses selected third-party services to provide app functionality.
These services may include:
• Google Firebase / Firebase Authentication
Used for authentication and account identity.
• Google Cloud Firestore
Used for supported cloud profile synchronization.
• Google Play Billing
Used for Premium subscription purchases and payment processing.
• RevenueCat
Used for subscription and Premium entitlement management.
• Google AdMob
Used for advertising for applicable users.
• Google Sign-In
Used for Google account authentication.
Third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies, terms, and applicable laws.
We encourage users to review the privacy policies of relevant third-party service providers.
22. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT THROUGH GOOGLE SIGN-IN
Age Buddy does not use Google Sign-In to access or read your Google Contacts.
Age Buddy does not request access to your Google password.
Age Buddy does not use Google Sign-In to access unrelated Google services unless a future feature explicitly requires and discloses such access.
23. DATA SHARING
We do not sell your personal profile information to third parties.
Information may be transmitted to or processed by service providers when necessary to provide App functionality.
Examples include:
• Firebase for authentication and supported cloud synchronization
• RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management
• Google Play for subscription purchases and billing
• Google AdMob for advertising
• Other infrastructure or service providers necessary to operate the App
Third-party providers may process information according to their own policies and contractual or legal obligations.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, court order, governmental request, fraud prevention, security, or protection of our rights and users.
24. DATA RETENTION
Local profile information may remain on your device until you delete the profile, clear App data, uninstall the App, or otherwise remove the local data.
Cloud-synchronized information may be retained while the associated Age Buddy account and supported cloud services remain active.
When an account deletion request is processed, we will delete or de-identify applicable account-associated data under our control, subject to legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, financial, regulatory, or other lawful retention requirements.
Third-party service providers may retain certain information according to their own policies and legal obligations.
25. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION
If you create an Age Buddy account, you may request deletion of your account and associated account data through the account deletion functionality provided in the App and through the external account-deletion resource provided by Age Buddy.
Account deletion may include deletion of applicable:
• Firebase account information
• Account-associated cloud profile data
• Age Buddy account information
• Other account-associated data under our control
Local-only profiles and locally stored photos may remain on your device unless separately deleted.
Subscription and payment records may be retained by Google Play, RevenueCat, or other relevant providers where required or permitted for legitimate purposes such as financial records, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
Account deletion does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.
If you have an active subscription, you should manage or cancel it through Google Play according to Google's subscription management procedures.
26. YOUR CHOICES
Depending on the features you use, you may be able to:
• Use basic Age Buddy features without creating an account
• Keep profiles stored locally
• Choose whether to sign in with Google
• Choose whether to use Premium features
• Choose whether to enable Birthday Reminders
• Choose whether to use profile photos in Birthday Cards
• Choose whether to create cloud-synchronized profile data by using eligible account/Premium functionality
• Delete local profiles
• Request account and associated cloud data deletion
• Manage or cancel Google Play subscriptions
• Manage applicable Android advertising and privacy settings
27. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Age Buddy is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
We do not knowingly request or collect personal information from children for purposes unrelated to providing the App's functionality.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information inappropriately, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
If applicable law requires parental consent or imposes additional requirements concerning children, those requirements will apply.
28. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING
Some third-party service providers used by Age Buddy may process or store information on servers located outside your country or region.
For example, cloud and subscription service providers may operate infrastructure in multiple countries.
By using features that require third-party processing, information may be processed in jurisdictions where those service providers operate, subject to applicable laws and their respective privacy practices.
29. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:
• App features
• Data practices
• Third-party services
• Subscription systems
• Cloud synchronization
• Advertising systems
• Legal or regulatory requirements
• Security practices
When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
