Mrs. P. Sithra, the Head of the department of Mathematics who has more than 25 year of teaching experience in teaching students of under graduate and Post graduate courses of Mathematics in various institutions. She is actively engaged in various college activities. She is the Nodal officer for the Alumna Association of the Institution. She is pursuing her research from Bharathidasan University, Thiruchirappalli and the research area includes Fuzzy sets and Fuzzy logic.
Dr. R. Prem Kumar, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, has more than 15 years of teaching experience in various Universities in Tamil Nadu. The teaching experience includes teaching Mathematics and Statistics subjects to students of various under graduate and postgraduate courses. He was posted as an Assistant Professor recruited by UPSC (Direct Recruitment) and presently working in Avvaiyar Government College for Women, karaikal from the year 2018 onwards. He has teaching experience in teaching students of science and Engineering in the state of Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry. He completed Ph.D in Mathematics at the National Institute of Technology Puducherry(NITpy). His research areas include Mathematical Modeling(General) and Bio-mathematics. He has published 12 research articles in Scopus/SCI/SCIE indexed journals to date.

Dr. J. Prakash is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Avvaiyar Government College for Women. He was appointed through UPSC during the academic year 2018–2019. He completed his post-graduation from the University of Madras and earned his Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai.
Dr. Prakash has extensive academic and research experience, with over 17 years of teaching in various reputed engineering colleges. His research primarily focuses on the Dynamics of Fluids and Numerical Analysis, where he has made significant contributions through both theoretical and applied studies.
He has published more than 90 research articles in reputed international peer-reviewed journals, including several in high-impact factor journals. His publications have received more than 3200 citations, reflecting the impact and recognition of his work in the global research community.
In recognition of his research excellence, Dr. Prakash has been consistently ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide for five consecutive years, as announced by Oxford University.

Partheeban, Assistant Professor, department of Mathematics who has more than 7 year of teaching experience in teaching students of under graduate and Post graduate courses of Mathematics in various institutions. He completed his Doctoral Degree in Bharathidasan University. He published more than 8 research article in various international journals. His area of specialization is Mathematical Modelling in Fuzzy Environment.
Dr. K. Jivagan, Assistant Professor, department of Mathematics who has more than 7 year of teaching experience in teaching students of under graduate and Post graduate courses of Mathematics in various institutions. He completed his Doctoral Degree in Bharathidasan University. He published more than 8 research article in various international journals. His area of specialization is Mathematical Modelling in Fuzzy Environment and Statistical analysis.
