Parents of gifted learners can be our most supportive advocates as we are striving to effectively serve their children’s learning needs. When we are identifying advanced learners, the parent’s input is imperative because who knows the “whole child” better than a parent. Parents can be a tremendously helpful resource as we facilitate learning in our GT classrooms. In fact, they are an essential stakeholder in all regards.
