Jignasa, a 3-level (L1, L2, L3) program, is intended for children 6 to 11 years old.
It is our year-round program that introduces children to the most refined language, Samskritam, GaNitam from Shastras and Bharateeya ItihAsa.

It is our year-round program that introduces children to the most refined language, Samskritam, GaNitam from Shastras and Bharateeya ItihAsa.
Children will learn:

- Samskritam language - Reading, SabhAShaNam, Writing
- Basic geography and history of India, its cultural and intellectual contributions.
- Indian Mathematics from Shastras
(such as Bhaskaracharya’s Leelavati, and Aryabhattiyam to name a few.) - Memorization of Grammar treatises (AshTAdhyAyi & Amarakosha)
This program is built with Indian culture, values, traditional practices and festivals. The holistic Indian outlook that grounds all Indian shastras forms the foundation of this program.

“Agastya Gurukulam has helped my son to understand our culture,beliefs, and festivals. The story behind every festival. He can now chant the mantras, slokas and also Amarkosaha fluently. He can even read and understand the Sanskrit words. His teachers Padma Mahodaya and Padmaja Mahodaya were very kind and tolerant towards the students.

The itahasa classes were great. It reminded and also narrated the stories of forgotten heroes of Indian history.
