Agam Singh Giri Memorial Higher Secondary School a Government Sponsored School affiliated to W.B.B.S.E. is an English medium school founded in 1972 by a group of social workers of the area with a view to educate the populace. It is located at Naya Busty, which lies in Naya Nore Gram Panchayat under Darjeeling-Pulbazar Development Block. Later in 1979 it was first recognised as Class IV Junior High School by the Govt of West Bengal and in the year 1997 as High School and in the year 2011 as Higher Secondary School. The School has an environment conducive for teaching and learning. The School's sole purpose is the all round development of the child. A learner oriented school which is child friendly and where the focus is on fun learning. Co-curricular activities occupy a special place in the teaching and learning process of the School. The school has a healthy environment with experienced and energetic teachers for guidance. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the town a remote place whaer the weather is pleasant all the year round and very conducive for the learner.

The school has so far participated in various atate level events such as Kala Utsav State Level Competition 2015 in dance category held in Salt Lake Kolkata, 62nd West bengal State Level Volleyball Championship 2016 (U 19) Boys held in Nadia. In the district and local level the school has participated in Open Volleyball tournaments, Inter school Volleyball tournaments, Open as well as Inter School Marathons and in every event has gathered many trophies medals and accolades.
