I'm a married man with grey in his hair and beard. I have played video games for most of my life. When I was a kid, we used to have a Commodore 128 and a library of games. Back in those days, folks openly had swap meets were people would just copy and trade games/software. After awhile, my interest in computers dwindled.
In the early 90s while visiting a friend, I saw his father playing Wolfenstein 3D. When i saw that, everything changed. I dove down the rabbit hole with PC builds that eventually led me into a career into the IT Industry. 20+ years and two kids later, I'm still playing PC games too much.
It's more than just a hobby for me. It's a stress reliever, an escape, it's entertainment, sometimes social interaction, and occasionally a complete waste of time and money. But it's what I do and who I am - always will be.
For starters, here's a link to my Steam Library
This should give some indication that I thoroughly enjoy playing PC games. Yeah not all of them are good games, but it's still an indication of my experience level.
Not included in the list above are my other libraries. I have numerous other games on UPlay, Origin, Epic Games Store, and just old school physical copies.
Bottom line - I have hundreds of games and thousands of hours in the PC Gaming world.
