Welcome to my Virtual Museum !
This virtual museum showcases a selection of my osteological specimens, exhibitions, and different projects and animals I have worked on throughout the years all gathered together in one place for you to explore and experience.
For a long time, I had the idea of recreating my work as an interactive virtual experience, and I finally found a way to make it possible.
Perhaps the craziest part is that I also managed to make the entire museum run directly through the web, converting the project into a format that can be experienced right in your browser - no download or installation required!
Because the museum contains many 3D models, textures, environments, and other game files all compressed into an HTML. file that runs on web, loading may take a little time, especially when first entering. A stable internet connection is recommended. Many of the original models and textures also had to be optimized to make a browser-based version possible, so some details may be reduced compared with the original specimens and models.
Before you start exploring:
Movement: On a computer, use W A S D to move and your mouse to look around. Hold Shift while moving to move faster. On a phone, iPad, or other touchscreen device, virtual joysticks will automatically appear on screen. Push the movement joystick all the way forward to move faster. (also rotate your phone to view in full screen)
Free Camera Mode: Want a closer look at something? Free Camera Mode allows you to fly freely around the museum and pass through walls, displays, and other objects, giving you the freedom to explore the specimens from almost any angle. On a computer, double-press Spacebar to enable or disable it. On a touchscreen device, double-tap anywhere on the screen.
Explore the exhibitions: The museum currently features a selection of specimens and exhibitions representing four different places I have worked with, bringing together projects that would normally be found in completely different locations into one virtual space.
Enjoy exploring! 🦴
