Afterhello Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Afterhello Studio provides Afterhello, a conversation game for people playing together.
Contact: afterhello.app@gmail.com
Android package: com.kerim.afterhello
Accounts and conversations
Afterhello does not require an account.
You answer questions aloud with the people you are playing with. The app does not record your voice or collect your spoken answers.
It does not request microphone, contacts, camera or precise-location permission.
Information on your device
The app stores settings, selected languages, optional player names, seen-question history, saved questions, personal decks and authored questions, active sessions, and question feedback on your device.
We do not operate a backend that receives these game records, and our app code does not include them in advertising requests.
Android backup and device-transfer services may copy local app data depending on device settings; those services are controlled by the platform and your settings.
Advertising and third-party processing
Afterhello uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Ads may appear at completed-round transitions. The question library works offline; unavailable ads do not prevent play.
Google and relevant advertising partners may process device and advertising identifiers, network information including IP-derived approximate location, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic/performance information to deliver and measure advertising, analyse service performance, and prevent fraud or abuse.
Processing depends on device settings, applicable requirements and privacy choices.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK encrypts its network data in transit using TLS.
We do not claim that declining personalised advertising prevents all third-party processing.
No separate analytics or crash-reporting service and no additional mediation adapter are integrated by Afterhello. This does not mean the advertising SDK performs no measurement or diagnostics.

Consent and privacy choices
Afterhello uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to update consent information when the app starts and display Google's consent form when required, including applicable users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland.
The app does not request advertisements until UMP reports that ads may be requested.
Consent or advertising failures leave the core game available.
When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, Settings → Privacy choices lets you reopen Google's form and manage your choices.
Available options depend on your region and Google's configured message.
Declining consent may result in limited advertising rather than removal of every advertisement.
You can also use Android's advertising-ID controls.
UMP stores information needed to remember and apply your choices.
Sharing and support
Sharing a card or exporting a deck opens Android's system chooser.
A deck export contains its name, question references and authored question content; it does not contain player names, seen history, favorites or ratings.
A feedback export includes the question feedback you choose to export.
The destination you select processes shared information under its own policies.
Import reads the file you select.
Temporary share files are stored in app cache and older temporary exports are cleaned during later sharing operations.
If you contact support by email, we receive your email address and the information you send.
We use it to respond and resolve your request.
Please avoid sending private conversation answers.
Retention and deletion
Local game records remain until you delete supported items or clear app storage.
Clearing storage removes local progress; uninstalling normally removes app-local data.
Backups and exported files may remain elsewhere and need separate management.
You can request deletion of support correspondence at afterhello.app@gmail.com.
Records needed for legal obligations or unresolved disputes may be retained.
We cannot delete copies held by recipients you selected or independently held Google data.
Use the relevant provider's privacy controls and request channels for those records.
Audience and changes
Afterhello is not designed specifically for children.
It includes relationship and personal-experience topics for an older audience.
Store target-audience declarations and the regional content rating describe availability; the app does not verify a player's age.
We update this policy when our practices change and revise the date above.
You can open the published policy from Settings → Privacy policy.
