AfterAction respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the AfterAction mobile application.

AfterAction is designed to operate primarily on your device.

The app may access or store the following information locally on your device:

• Photos, videos, and files attached to incidents
  
  

• Timeline history related to incidents
  
  

This information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to external servers by AfterAction.

2. Camera, Microphone, and File Access

AfterAction requests the following permissions only when features are used:

• Camera — to capture photos or record videos as attachments
  
  

• Microphone — to record voice notes
  
  

• Storage / Media Access — to select or save attachments
  
  

These permissions are used solely to provide in-app functionality and are controlled by the user.

3. Data Storage

All incident data, attachments, and recordings are stored locally on your device using secure operating system storage.

AfterAction does not automatically upload your data to cloud services.

4. Data Sharing

AfterAction does not collect, sell, or share personal data.

Data may be shared only when the user explicitly uses export or share features, such as:

• Exporting PDF or Excel reports
  
  

• Sharing incident summaries
  
  

• Exporting attachment bundles
  
  

The user fully controls when and how data is shared.

5. Third-Party Services

AfterAction uses standard Android system components and open-source libraries to provide functionality such as file sharing and document export. These components operate within the Android platform environment.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Users can:

• Delete incidents
  
  

• Remove attachments
  
  

• Clear data by uninstalling the app
  
  

Removed attachments are deleted from device storage, though timeline audit entries may remain for recordkeeping purposes.

7. Children’s Privacy

AfterAction is not directed toward children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

Because data is stored locally, security depends on device protections such as screen locks and operating system safeguards.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as features evolve. Updates will be reflected by the “Last Updated” date above.
