He played all the instruments on all the tracks you are about to listen to, except those songwhere he collaborated with Sam Jarju Matarr, Tony Babatunde Ellis, Zemya Hamilton, Helena Eriksson, Caroline Williams, Maria Hedman. Mats Gustavsson, Staffan Odenhall in his early recording from the 1980-1990.
Alex Kingsley Morgan´s lyrics are very straight forward, some are very political, some are pure fantasyand many more are just experimental. As a one man musician, he could not settle for one music style, rather he enjoy every song, sound, beat and of all type playing drums and various percussion instruments, then he found the guitar, the keyboard and synthesizer, Sound Programming.. Malando Gassama. Drummer. Percussion player.

I met Malando Gassama in Stockholm where we both lived, We use to gather at Göran Freese´s studio to jam, converse, drink and smoke. I asked Malando to compose the beat to MAKE IT SOLID. and he did. It sound great. He played the percussion on RICH YOUR LOVE, which is a great groovy song.
The last four day he spent in Stockholm was the last days in his life. Shortly Malando left Sweden to Gambia where he died due to heart failure. A true friend and a dedicated musician.Malando Gassama played with many famous artists like ABBA, Janne Schaffer Tony Ellis, Eric Gadd, Eric Bibb and many others. RIP.
