Our next meeting will be
Saturday, May 16th at 10 AM
Village of Palm Springs Library Meeting Room
217 Cypress Lane Palm Springs, FL 33461
Last Month:
Our April 18th meeting was all about flowers. We celebrated the beautiful blooms of our African violets with a fun and interactive program:
“Get Your Bloom On”
Many members brought an African violet with a bloom on it—their prettiest or most interesting flower to share with the group. There were many oohs and ahs.
All the plants were out so everyone could admire them.
Each member voted once for each of these three categories:
Prettiest Bloom
Most Unusual Flower
Best Bloom Display
We voted for the plants. Melissa counted the votes. Jim 's violet won for the prettiest bloom and Ernie won the most unusual bloom AND best bloom display. There were so many beautiful violets. Such good fun and a great way to see the variety we grow!
Watched a short video highlighting different African violet flower types
Shared simple tips for encouraging more blooms
Enjoyed a relaxed and flower-filled meeting together
What a colorful and fun floral gathering!
