This initiative was born from a deep, personal appreciation for the transformative power of global education. Like many who came before us, our own family histories were defined by a commitment to traveling the world in pursuit of the best educational opportunities. This personal journey ultimately led each of us to the USA and into the field of Admissions, where we work each day to provide access to high-quality educational opportunities for others.
As admissions professionals, we recognize that while the African continent boasts a rich history in educational excellence, it remains a largely untapped market within the independent school community. With this dedicated group, we officially established the foundation of our partnership, now known as the African Recruitment Network, to collaboratively and effectively build enduring connections with African families seeking world-class independent school education.
The collective power of this endeavor was formally launched in 2024. Five schools came together to leverage our collective data, networks, resources, and energy. We were intentional in ensuring that the five schools represented a wide array of school choices, as the primary objective of our outreach is to promote access to world-class education itself, not just recruitment for a single institution.
In 2026, the group expanded to include 14 schools.
