Meet Solomon Amba, who at 13 years old founded Bags4kids500.
In April of 2016, Solomon attended the Leap Africa Leadership Camp in Nigeria where he was inspired to help the less fortunate children in the slums of Makoko in Lagos, Nigeria. Solomon founded Bags4kids to provide 500 school bags and other school supplies to public school children in Makoko and other poor areas of the country. Solomon believed that education would be the bridge to building a better future for these children.
After learning of Solomon’s efforts, the African Children Cultural Educational & Social Society was inspired by his drive to help the less fortunate in his community. In order to encourage, support and cultivate more young African leaders like him, we are exuberantly joining forces with Solomon to raise funds to help him reach his goal.

#Sendbetty2school is a campaign being run by Zambians in the USA and in Zambia to raise greater awareness of the need of the girl-child of Zambia to receive an education. ACCESS is joining forces with this campaign to help raise funds to alleviate the plight of girls in Zambia. This campaign is aimed at shedding light on the difficulties young Zambian girls face to receive an education and what we can do to help. The goal is to send 150 girls in Zambia to school. They depend entirely on donations throughout the campaign to achieve this goal. The 150 girls were preselected by NGOs based in the USA that work in Zambia. These girls face huge obstacles to getting an education. Among them are poverty, disabilities and HIV/AIDS. Their common requests are for uniforms, books, shoes and socks. Each child needs about $100 to fully enroll in school. Please join The African Children Cultural Educational and Social Society in supporting this worthy cause!!
