A ground-breaking initiative by African Kulture in partnership with SME Business Clinic South Africa (SBCSA), supported by Business and Arts South Africa (BASA), aimed at uplifting and capacitating Africa's creative economy. CBA's goal is to equip 100 Creative SMEs and Individuals annually from the arts and media sector with the business acumen, digital tools and practical skills necessary for growth and global reach.
Through a blend of creative business training, coaching, masterclasses and networking, CBA is every creative's gateway to sustainable growth. Whether you’re an emerging artist, a media entrepreneur, or a creative SME, CBA provides the tools, access and ecosystem to help creatives in Africa build the essential skills, confidence, and networks needed for success.
The Creative Business Accelerator 2025 Program will provide under-resourced entrepreneurs and creatives from communities such as Khayelitsha, Gqeberha, and Soweto in South Africa with the skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to grow sustainable creative businesses and careers.
Who should apply? Arts and Media SMEs, including digital content creators, artists, filmmakers, designers, musicians, and media start-ups across underserved South African communities.

The Creative Business Accelerator is a monthly, immersive Learning experience designed for 10 participants (individuals and SMEs) from underserved communities across Africa.
Each month, 10 participants will undergo intensive in-person training in:
• Business model development
• Digital marketing and sales for creative industries
• Operations management
• Accessing funding opportunities
• Mentorship and networking
Participants will attend Masterclasses and workshops every last Thursday of the month and will have the opportunity to showcase at the Last Thursdays Networking Events.

Mandatory Attendance: All selected participants must attend both In-Person Training sessions and the Last Thursday's Masterclasses.
