The Armed Forces and the People United is a top-secret United States Air force organization tasked with operating the Stargate device, an ancient teleportation device that allows for near-instant transportation to other stargates, and all matters pertaining to things off-world, such as threats to Earth or missions to procure new technology from extraterrestrial civilizations. The program is based inside the Cheyenne Mountain Complex in Colorado, code named "Area 52". Area 52 is the most secure facility on the planet and houses the Stargate. AFPU was made by the current O-8 Major General totoro987123 accurately about 3 years ago. AFPU is a stargate genre based off the movies, and series Stargate SG-1.

AFPU has several divisions that members of the rank of [E-2] Airman and above can join, each specialized within a different field to keep the group running. Some divisions focus more to the external part of AFPU, like OOTMG (Office of the Major General). Others focus internally within the main game Area 52 (link will be provided below).

As of 5/18/20, AFPU is up to 16K members and counting, continuously growing and updating the group and games everyday to ensure the top enjoyment and convenience for the new members, and the members that have been around for awhile.

For new members that have recently joined, sometimes you may struggle to find out where to apply, or answers to questions. However the AFPU Regulations Hub will be your to-go source for finding information for either the application, rules, uniform rules, or even on-duty rules. To rank up from E-1, you must first apply for it in the Application Center (will be linked below) and wait for your application to be either accepted or denied. If you see your application is gone after checking back on it, that means you have failed. However if you think that it was accepted, do the command !getroles in the bot-commands channel within AFPU's communications/Discord server to see if you have gotten the rank of E-2. Once you get to the rank of E-2, your activity will log when entering the main game, and the minimal time for eligibility-for-promotion is 120 minutes. Activity isn't the only thing that determines your promotion however. You need consistent activity, a decent level of maturity and understanding of English grammar, and have no toxicity towards other players.
