Afonso Câmara Leme

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE).

I am also an external research affiliate at the Nova SBE Economics of Education Knowledge Center (EEKC).

My  research interests are in Economics of Education, Labour Economics, and Policy Evaluation.

Prior to joining AMSE, I obtained my PhD from Nova SBE, where I was a researcher at the EEKC. During my PhD and Postdoc, I have visited Rockwool Foundation Copenhagen, Aarhus BSS, and Sapienza University.

I am on the 2025/26 Job Market.
