Afonso Boavida Rodrigues

I am a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE), Heinrich Heine University, since August 2026.

I recently finished the DPhil Economics at the University of Oxford (Keble College), and am a former PhD Studentship holder with the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (Portugal) and bursary holder with the Department of Economics at Oxford. 

My primary research interests are Empirical Microeconomics, Industrial Organisation, and Game Theory. My research concerns structural demand estimation and endogenous models of product design and market structure.
