Conducting research at the intersection of cognitive processes, social cognition, and electrophysiology, our work encompasses a multifaceted exploration of topics such as making inferences, decoding social deception, engaging in categorical reasoning, and understanding the nuances of gender stereotypes. Additionally, our research extends into two distinct realms of investigation. Firstly, we delve into the intricate dynamics of Schizophrenia and Language, collaborating closely with the Hospital 12 de Octubre in Madrid. Secondly, we explore the nexus of brain development and language acquisition in prematurely born children, collaborating with both the Faculty of Education at UCM and the Hospital de La Paz in Madrid. Our goal is to contribute meaningfully to our understanding of complex cognitive processes and their implications for mental health and developmental outcomes.
