Educational Outreach

An educational outreach program will be organized for School and UG students post conference session on 10th, Feb, 2024. In this outreach program, a Chemistry Magic Show will be organized by Prof. Anil Kumar, the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and Prof. Uday Maitra of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

About Chemistry Magic Show: Chemical science is a subject that holds a large part of our everyday life. Atoms and molecules are an invisible world with lots of mystery, yet their behavior and properties are important for our survival, comfort, and day-to-day activities. The ‘Chemistry Magic’ event is aimed at high school and undergraduate students, and it will provide ample opportunities for learning through experimental demonstration beyond classroom teaching. This event will help them to correlate chemistry in everyday life and understand those scientifically. It is also going to be an interactive session where the participants can actively interact with the demonstrators, who are eminent scientists, and get inspired.
