"Kitty Hawk Honor Society (KHHS) is the JROTC extension of the National Honor Society. The main objectives of KHHS are to promote higher academic standards, to be of service to the school and community, promote self-confidence and initiative, develop leadership abilities, and to encourage academic excellence and continued educational development in the post high school years. There are many community service opportunities exclusively for members of the society. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership and scholarship in KHHS. To be inducted into the society, you must be a returning cadet to FL-936, hold a weighted GPA of at least 3.5, maintain a 4.0 GPA in your AFJROTC class, and you should already hold at least 8 hours of community service. Active members will wear pins and cords to display their dedication to FL-936 and the Kitty Hawk Honor Society."
