Pilot

Pilot surveys and focus group discussions (FGDs) were run in two locations in Kabul by the Energy Study Team. The pilot was designed to test the research tools and learn more about community members understanding of energy.

The first pilot day was run in Kata Belandi on the 7th of February, 2018. Kata Belandi borders Dasht-e-Barchi, one of the communities in the Energy Study. The mini-grid generator used by the community is the same one used in Dasht-e-Barchi.

The second pilot day was run in Sare Tapa on the 8th of February, 2018. Sare Tapa is a part of Karte Naw, one of the communities in the Energy Study.
