Affliction Vector has been conceived as an introspective exploration by Ans in 2018.

After the dissolution of Ooze and his separation from Grime, the artist decided to embrace a solitary journey through his own inner demons, choosing isolation and his dissolving mental health as a fuel for his creative flame. In 2019 drummer Chris (Grime, The Secret) joined the project solidifying the line up.

The band released their debut EP “Death Comes Supreme” on Argento Records (Lamp Of Murmuur, Verwoed, Faceless Entity) in 2020 achieving critical acclaim.

In 2021 Chris exits the band and Stefano (Claustrum, Fuoco Fatuo live drummer) joins on drums, taking the bands destructive power to a new level of ferocity.

Their debut full-length “Contra Hominem” is a further step into madness and sees the duo adding more experimental elements in their music, adding layers of organ and a more diversified vocal approach to their dense and furious sound.

“Antiuomo” features artwork by Daniele Valeriani (Mayhem, Abbath, Aura Noir) and is mixed and mastered by Gabriele Gramaglia (Cosmic Putrefaction, Void Ceremony, Defacement).
