Philosophy and Purpose

Affirmation Community Schools Inc. (ACS, Inc.) is a private, non-profit community school, serving students in grades preschool through eighth and providing community education. Our goal is to provide excellent education to all learners, both on campus and online.

The staff of ACS, Inc. guides individual learners in "learning to learn" through a multi-sensory approach to teaching, a small student-teacher ration, and a warm, supportive atmosphere. At ACS, Inc. each learner is recognized as an individual with a unique pattern of strengths and weaknesses. Learners are taught to maximze their strengthes and techniques that minimize their weaknesses. ACS, Inc.'s education is designed for the individual learner in developing a firm foundation in problem-solving and critical thinking skills that will enhance their psycho-social and academic development.

ACS, Inc. believes strongly that a well-balanced, challenging education is essential to help each learner reach his or her potential.
