Welcome to the website of the Affective Human-Robot Interaction (A-HRI) Lab @INU! Founded in 2025 at Inchean National University, the A-HRI is an interdisciplinary research group comprising members with diverse academic backgrounds. Our primary focus is on designing and developing algorithms and systems for real-world human-robot interaction applications, enabling robotic systems to understand human internal and external conditions from sensors.
Research Objectives:
Integrating human with advanced robotics systems to enhance the quality of interaction
Developing robot's perspective that understanding human factors from sensors
Designing Socially Acceptable HRI Applications with Advanced AI and Robotics Technology
Research Strategy:
Definition: Define human factors on target HRI scenarios
Estimation: Develop computational algorithms to predict human factors
Calibration: Design an adaptive feedback system to improve the quality of HRI
Validation: Conduct field user experiments in real-world scenarios (no simulation/assumption)
